The National Board is pleased and excited to announce the appointment of Ms Jill McCabe as our new CEO.
Jill has an impressive background in advocacy and industrial relations. She has worked in roles across the Victorian public sector since 2003, covering industrial relations and workplace health and safety.
She has held executive positions at director level including as the Director Office of Women's Policy, Director Community and Economic Participation and Director Office for Youth. Jill has also lectured in industrial relations at several of Melbourne’s academic institutions.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Business Administration and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jill has said,
“I'm really excited about joining the impressive team at Professionals Australia and working with them to build on their outstanding record of success. I'm also looking forward to continuing Professionals Australia's efforts to improve working opportunities and conditions for members as we move into the recovery and rebuilding phases, as a result of COVID-19.”
Jill will formally commence on 28 September 2020.
The National Board is very confident Jill will bring exceptional leadership to the Association and provide the necessary support to us and our staff, to build on the excellent work that Professionals Australia has accomplished to date.
