Senior Staff Employment

The LGEA has been campaigning for better job security for our members in senior staff roles for many years and we are making significant progress. In late September, the Office of Local Government issued a discussion paper to seek the views of the broader local government sector on the proposed removal of contracts for non-General Manager Senior Staff, as requested by the parties to the Award.

The LGEA made a submission on behalf of members in support of the proposed changes.
