The LGEA is a member-based, not-for-profit, organisation representing engineering and other technical professionals working throughout NSW local government. Since 1919 we have supported our members on employment and industry issues to improve their working and professional lives.

We provide support and advocacy so engineers and technical professionals get respect, recognition and reward at every stage of their career so they can get on with making a vital contribution to our community and the nation’s economy.
